- You may thin out extra seedlings and leave one or two of the strongest per pod to thrive. This way the whole plant pod will last and provide blooms for a longer time.
- Calendula grows best with just one lamp arm as the cultivar used in this plant pod is a real dwarf in size. But, don't let the small size fool you, it still makes an impression due to its bright petal color and a long list of medicinal properties.
- Expect to see the first flowers approximately fifty days after planting.
- Use edible flowers in full bloom for a soothing tea or garnish- harvesting flowers also promotes new buds to develop.
- If you grow Calendula just as an ornamental plant, remove withered flowers with a short piece of stem- more will emerge soon.
